Hello & welcome to Dulce Vida…my Sweet Life!

My name is Liz and I discovered my love of sewing as a young girl. One frosty New York Christmas morning I received a gift from my grandparents that I never knew I wanted…it was a brand new sewing machine! I was 9 or 10, and I remember thinking “what am I going to do with this?”….fast forward a couple of years, that machine & I became the best of friends!! Together we altered clothing, made & embellished figure skating costumes, stitched many (many!) quilts….and most importantly, she helped me develop my love for needles & thread! That little Brother Sewing Machine has since been retired, and my studio is now outfitted with much larger, and much stronger, industrial machines…but I will always be indebted to my first little machine, and my grandparents, for the sparking my love of sewing that continues to sweeten my life to this day.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my creations with you and hope they will bring you as much joy as I find in making them! Discovering the world of bag making & customized apparel has been a perfect outlet for my creative soul…and one that has now blossomed into a growing business where I can use that creativity to sweeten the lives of others!
